Join local naturalist and cetacean scientist, Martin Kitching, for a brand new course and a closer look at the North East's iconic marine mammals.
Over four evening sessions, attendees will gain an understanding of cetacean ecology, explore the identification of our region's four most abundant species and discover the rare, uncommon and unusual species that could be encountered in the North East. Finally, you will examine the threats faced by cetaceans and explore new research and possible solutions.
This is the perfect course for anyone passionate about marine life and the possibility of recording, observing and enjoying whales and dolphins in the future.
