About Gosforth Nature Reserve's Centenary Celebration
To mark 100 years of Gosforth Nature Reserve, we're holding a special programme events exploring the reserve and its fantastic wildlife. From wildflowers and birds to ladybirds and bees, there is lots to look forward to this summer. All are welcome. Please come along and help celebrate 100 years of protecting local nature.

About this event
Gosforth Nature Reserve is home to many birds, several of which join us in Autumn to to spend the winter at the reserve . Join NHSN Volunteer, Neil Pont, for a relaxed and friendly walk as you explore those to be found in the reserve's woodlands, wetlands and reedbeds. Along the way you might spot waterfowl such as Teal and Gadwall, woodland birds like Nuthatch and Great Spotted Woodpecker, and perhaps even a raptor or two.

This event comprises a walk of approx 1 mile. Paths may be muddy so please bring walking boots or wellies.
