Join naturalists, Philip Jordan and Jane Gray, for a guided walk in search of the varied butterflies that inhabit Gosforth Nature Reserve

Event length: Multiple sessions, Tuesday and Saturday, 12.00pm - 2.00 pm

Event cost: Free to NHSN members

Enjoy an informal afternoon walk as you set out in search of varied and beautiful butterflies than inhabit the region's oldest nature reserve.

Ideal for beginners, a range of species can be encountered at GNR during the summer months including Common Blue, Small Skipper and Ringlet.

Whilst not guranteed, sightings of the much scarcer Purple and White-letter Hairstreak are also possible.

Please meet by the reserve entrance.
