Join NHSN's Botany Specialist Group for an introductory look at grasses and their identification.

Home to a wide range of habitats ranging from heathland and meadows to woodland and wetland, Urban Green Newcastle's Havannah Nature Reserve is home to a great many grass species. From common and familiar grasses of verges and fields to more unusual species, this workshop should provide the perfect starting point for those looking to take their interest further in the future. All are welcome.
