Join local naturalists and passionate volunteers for a two-day celebration of urban nature at the North East's oldest nature reserve.
From bees and butterflies to woodland birds and secretive mammals, come along to explore the incredible diversity of wildlife to be found in Newcastle. With activities and demonstrations suitable for all ages, there will be lots to see and do.
This year, young visitors will be able to enjoy pond dipping, bug hunting, bee spotting and birdwatching. Come along to discover more wildlife, through bird ringing, small mammal monitoring and guided walks.
All are welcome – please do tell friends and family. Drop-in anytime between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm to learn about birds, plants, mammals, and insects from friendly local naturalists.
Parking at Gosforth Nature Reserve is limited. If possible, please do travel sustainably by bike, bus or on foot.
