Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk around Shibdon Pond LNR. This walk is appropriate for both complete beginners and advanced birders. Some likely species for this walk include: Shoveler, Ring Necked Parakeet, Sparrowhawk.

Public transport Directions from Newcastle City centre: Get the 12 bus from Eldon Square bus station and get off at Shibdon Bank hazel road, Then walk down Shibdon bank and across Hazel road to Blaydon Community Centre.

Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing.
