Come along and meet your Artist in Residence! Join printmaker Kate Miller in the Field Studies Room, where she’ll be working on her prints and sharing insights into her creative process.

Kate, Gosforth Nature Reserve’s first Artist in Residence, has over 30 years’ experience in printmaking and specialises in linocut. Her work is inspired by time spent outdoors, capturing both expansive landscapes and the small details of the natural world – from seedheads and hedgerows to birds and reflections on the water.

During this relaxed drop-in session, Kate will have her sketchbooks and works in progress on hand, and you’ll be able to observe some of the processes involved in creating monoprints and linocuts. It’s a great opportunity to see how her time at the reserve is shaping a new body of work.

Do pop in, say hello, and chat with Kate about printmaking, her residency, and the inspiration she’s finding at Gosforth Nature Reserve.
