Join Assistant Naturalist, Hollie Muir, for a family friendly walk around the reserve, looking for wildife as we go!
About this event
Join us for a guided walk around Gosforth Nature Reserve's woodland and bird hide. We'll take a walk through the woods to see what wildlife, tracks and signs we can spot and then make our way to the bird hide to discover birds on the lake.

Event Cost: £4 (you only need to book a ticket for the child/children attending)
Age: Suitable for ages 5-11
Meet at: Field Studies Room, Gosforth Nature Reserve, Salters Lane, Newcastle
Additional Notes:
- Toilet facilities are available.
- Please bring suitable walking shoes.
- Binoculars will be available to borrow during the session
- Photos may be taken as part of this event for social media purposes - if you would prefer to not be included please let a member of staff know at the start of the session.
Accessibility
This event comprises a walk of approx 1 mile. Most of the walk will take place on woodland footpaths and there may be tree roots along the way.
