Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk around Killingworth Lake to look for displaying great crested grebes and other spring birds. This walk is appropriate for both complete beginners and advanced birders.
Bus directions from Newcastle: Board the X8 bus at Haymarket bus station and leave the bus at A189-Whitehouse Farm. Cross the road over the A189 and follow the path to Station Road.
Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing.
