About this Event

Join NHSN Senior Naturalist, James Common, on a friendly and informal walk in search of queen bumblebees and other pollinators.

In this new series of walks, we’ll explore Tyneside’s urban green spaces looking for bumblebees, solitary bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects. As the season progresses, we’ll track the emergence of new species and record our sightings as part of the North East Bee Hunt and Gosforth’s Wild Web.

Please bring sturdy footwear and waterproofs if needed.

Please note that parking can be limited at Gosforth Nature Reserve, and public transport is recommended wherever possible.
