About this Event

Join local birder Matthew Harrison for a walk from Trow Point to South Shields pier in search for snow bunting and other wintering birds. This walk is appropriate for both complete beginners and advanced birders. Some likely species for this walk include: Snow Bunting, Purple Sandpiper, and Eider.Public transport Directions from Newcastle City centre: Get the metro to South Shields, then either walk or get the E1 or 10 bus from South Shields interchange to Mowbray Road New Crown.

Please bring optics if possible, as well as suitable clothing.
