Join us as we survey the botany of the Ouse Burn Way, split into 35 x 1km squares.
About this Event
Join NHSN's Urban Naturalist, Ellie Davison, for a botanical recording session in the 1km square NZ2671, at Gosforth Nature Reserve. This event is part of a larger survey, where we are dividing the Ouse Burn Way into 35 one-kilometer squares to document its fascinating plant life.

Accessibility
This walk is approximately 2 hours long with some uneven terrain expected. If you have and questions about accessability please contact Ellie Davison on UrbanNaturalist@newcastle.ac.uk.
Recommended equipment
Essential: Sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Optional: Hand lens, smart phone with iNaturalist and/or iRecord downloaded, with an account set up, as we will be largely using these for recording.
