Join Amelia Jenkins, NHSN Student Naturalist, for a Beginners friendly Nature Walk at Great Park!

Explore the beauty of the newly created habitat around Newcastle Great Park which are a fantastic place to observe a range of common and more elusive wildflowers and waterfowl. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about the natural world around us!

Welcome to all - suitable for beginner naturalists and kids.

Event length: 1 session, Saturday 21 June, 10.00 am-12.00 pm (approx)

Meet at: Brunton Lane (NZ 23184 70752, stuck.dive.quite)*

*This site is accessible via bus using the 49 Service from Newcastle City Centre

Event cost: Free to all

Event Structure: Informal Walk

Level: Beginner

Additional Notes:

  • Please bring water and suitable walking shoes/trainers.
  • Photography will be taking place, please let the event lead know if you do not wish to be in any photos.

Accessibility

Toilet facilities are not available. Please wear sturdy footwear as some of the paths can be uneven in places.
