About this Event
The slopes below Brough Law expose outcrops of Andesite, whilst on the opposite bank of the River Breamish are Agglomerates, evidence of the change from explosive to effusive volcanism. They are bothe cut by later stage igneous dykes. The walk is all pretty much in the alley with only short ascents to some of the outcrops.
Accessibility
This walk may may include slopes, rocky areas and areas of uneven or steep ground. Toilet facilities are not present in the near area.
Essential equipment
Sturdy footwear, outdoor clothing, lunch.
