Meet at: Gosforth Nature Reserve entrance - someone will be along to greet you.
Important information: Each ticket covers a family of two adults and three children. Additional children are welcome at £2 per child.
Perfect for all the family, join friendly NHSN volunteers for a morning of exploration at Gosforth Nature Reserve complete with refreshments and fun activities.
A chance to enjoy Goforth Nature Reserve with your own personal nature guide before enjoying a spot of pond dipping in the reserve's lake.
All visits include your own guide around the reserve, and the use of binoculars, pots and pond dipping equipment. Refreshments and nature activities will also be available in the Field Studies Room at the end of your visit providing time to relax and reflect.
Sessions will last roughly three hours and children of all ages are welcome.
On the Day
10am: Meet rangers at the Welcome Hut, introductions, collect binoculars and equipment
10am - 12pm: Pond Dipping and a guided walk around the lake.
12pm (ish): Return to Field Studies Room for refreshments and activities.
